 A Brief History About Haemodialysis Center R.C.K.T.

Introduction

Rotary Haemodylisis Center of Kota Tinge  was proposed in 1996 by our Past President Silverado A/L Sinnayah. Since then we have carried a few fund raising project to raise fund for our project. Our center started in 13/6/1999 with only 3 machine and 12 patients. In 14/1/2001 our club purchase another 2 machines and patients increase to 17.

Aim

Our club aim is to have sufficient machine to serve the local community with our existing building . we can accommodate 8 machines. Our system we can cater for 12 machines.

Planning & Preparation

Our club started seriously planning for this center during 1999 with the assistance from two distinguish Rotarian Dato' Singaraveloo and Dr. K.N Singh form Rotary Club of Johor Bharu. We manage to start our center smoothly . Our club really appreciate and thankful to their support.

Working Visit

We like to take this opportunity to thank Rotary Club of Johor Bahru and Rotary Club of Kulai for their training given to our staff. We also like to thank Rotary Club of Pontian for inviting us to join then bulk purchase programmed and enable us to save same cost.

Fund Raising

Our club a sincere thanks to Yayasan Kebajikan Negeri Johor for donating 2 machines to our club. We are very grateful to the support given by the local community, even we are in the middle of the global economic crisis. And today we are happy to say that the fund for our club is sufficient to maintain the running cost of our center. By the end of this year we are organizing a fund raising project to buy a building for our Haemodialysis center. Our club hopes that we will get further support from all the kind and generous hearted people.

Conclusion

Our club hopes that with these Haemodylisis center project. We can create awareness among the local community. We hope more people will know our club and might even join us as a potential member.

  3. Visiting the orphan house.
  4. Visiting the old folk house.
